Film Title: E4 Ident
Client: E4
Producer: Murat
Date: 15th March
Director: Murat
Writer: Murat

The ident will be shot in the media department of Ravenswood High School.

Access: Through the door - there are two you can come in from.  I'll be able to use most of the room around my desktop.

Potential Filming problems: People might get in my way but if I move to a secluded part of my media room then that wont be a problem. I'll have to pick a good camera and a sturdy table otherwise it may be slanted and therefore my video/ident will be slanted. The noise might be a problem but I can get rid of that during the editing process on this mac.

Health and Safety concerns: Someone may fall down one of the many staircases this school has.

CONTROL MEASURES

reducing the risk level to an acceptable level

You could end up tripping over the cables around me cause they’ll be plugged into the computer and the camera and I will be filming in the centre of the room so it will be a hazard.
3
1
I will have to run the wires along the walls and beneath the tables where the computers sit. I’ll make sure to warn everyone.
Someone could hit their ankles or waist’s on the tables and chairs and bruise himself or herself. This might happen because I’ll be rearranging the chairs around to the centre of the room or awkward places.
3
       2
Rearrange the tables so that their not in anyones way and make sure that people can get around the class without having to get out of their way because this could cause an accident. With the tables, I'll get rid of those completely because i don't need them.
Because I spray painted the lego pieces to match my ident this can cause problems to people who react badly to chemicals
2
1
Make sure to warn people and ask if they have a problem with anything. If they do they can stay well away, but the chances of this happening are slim, but plausible.
An object may fall off the table; leg set, metal apparatus, camera, and one of these could land on some ones foot or someone might trip over them
2
1
Keep everything in the middle of the desk and make sure that its placed securely. Make sure there are no wires which can drag these things to the floor.

Hollywood tracking project

Mama

Mama began production in 2011 3rd october in Toronto Pinewood Studios. It ended in the 18th of December and part of the film was shot in Quebec.  It was originally slated for release in October 1012 but for undisclosed reasons it was released in 2013 January.
1,512,297 - UK figures show that this is what Mama has earned in just two weeks after it's release in the UK and is third in the current top 15 films. In the USA Mama has done much better and is the highest grossing film (28 million) in January. This could be because the film has a lot of American aspects to it as it was produced by a north american company and is set in America. Therefore the producers and the directors would have kept America in mind when creating the film.
The film I think appeals to all ethnic groups and not only that but appeals to parents to, because from the trailer who understand that these two people are adopting the girls and therefore the film may raise issues on the subject of parenthood.
The distribution is usually headed by the production company and because this film was produced by a very big studio and has one relatively famous celebrity and so would be shown in bigger chain cinemas. If the film was indie and didn't have a big budget and didn't have any known actors then it would be shown in an independent cinema.
The classification of the film is 15 and so appeals to that target audience and because 18 films are becoming less and less common it means that they have to show more violence, sex, and strong language than they used to; they did this and so it appeals to everyone.
The film was released near no major holiday's and so it does not represent any of these holiday's. Because there aren't really any other horror films coming out this march I think Mama will do well - for horror fan's they'd have to see it seeming as the pickings are very slim. Usually there's a lot of horror films which come out during october, near Halloween, and so Mama may have done better if it had been released then. But that also means that it would have to contend with a bunch of other horror films and so will have to stand out from them - this film did not stand out to me and looking at the box office figures it didn't appeal to many other people either.

Dark night viral marketing

The dark night viral marketing campaign.
They used a lot of things for this campaign including - fake campaign for Harvey Dent, fake joker hackers, meetings, and they even had people to protest about what's happening in the fictional city of gotham, and even voice mails from Harvey Dent and the joker when you ring a certain number.
They used the internet, wifi, posters, and word of mouth to convey the marketing campaign and because of all the money they poured into it, the number of people who wanted to watch the film rose exponentially compared to the original amount who wanted to watch it.
The marketing team put in nearly 400 million to promote their film and this could have been a big loss. That's why not many films have tried this kind of marketing before. it is not because the dark knight franchise is unpopular but because they want newer audiences as well as the guaranteed ones.
They made the website called - I believe in Harvey Dent - and people donated money to his campaign and their were fake speeches and interviews.
They previewed the opening bank robbery scene before the screening of Will Smith's film - I am Legend.
They drove dent-mobiles around the city to promote Harvey dent's campaign.
After Heath Ledger's death the film grew in popularity and this was part the reason it sold so well - if fans of heath ledger weren't going to see the film, the would have done after his death, because it was his last ever performance.
They also posted a phone number on the website - I believe in Harvey Dent - and when people rung it they would be received by a Harvey Dent voicemail. Sometimes the Joker would but in.
The I believe in Harvey Dent website was then hacked by the Joker who smeared it with his own slogans.
The Dark knight also drew unwanted publicity due to a shooting in the first screening of the dark knight. This was all over the news.

script for short film in media btec

A boy’s ball

Murat is bouncing ball against a wall and it flees out of the door and down the stairs.

Cut to ball bouncing down the steps.

Murat chasing after it (shot in first person)

Ball bounces about in the bottom floor of the media department.

Murat running in circles to get it.

Ball leaves through open door.

Murat chases it.

Ball does a U-turn and back into the media department.

Murat follows it and crashes into closed door. Feeling dazed (shake the camera around sideways and put the camera out of focus.  He then opens the door and sees the ball bouncing from wall to wall and then up the stairs. Murat follows.

He reaches the landing and turns his face up and can’t see the ball anywhere. It has vanished. Carefully, silently, he walks up the stairs and reaches the second floor. He looks in all the doors and they are all silent. Except for one because the door is left ajar and is swaying a little. You see Murat clenches his fists and enter through the door.

The room is really eerie and silent. Somewhere a ball is bouncing but it echoes so Murat can’t pinpoint the noise. He looks around and finally finds the ball in a drawer – it then leaps out but Murat catches it. He clenches his fist and when he opens it the ball is gone.

Ending – you can see it leaving through the door.
